Sex addiction is more than a diagnosis; it is an intensely private battle that can present itself in many forms. If you're grappling with sex addiction, you may be finding solace by engaging in multiple sexual encounters, obsessive relationships, or sexting with someone other than your partner. Or, you may be single but struggling with compulsions including porn, internet sex, or masturbation. The good news is that there is hope. The work isn't always easy, but there is always someone to guide you, and there is no blame or shame involved in the healing process.
Participating in group therapy can be a valuable source of support and accountability. Our groups are facilitated by qualified therapists, with real-world experience, and provide a safe and confidential space for you to explore your struggles with sex addiction, or as the partner of a sex addict. Being a part of a community of others who are also struggling with similar issues can create a sense of camaraderie and shared experience, which can be incredibly validating and empowering. We have both secular and Christian groups for men and women.
Do you feel like you're trapped in a never-ending cycle of seeking and using drugs or alcohol, despite the consequences? We know it can be a lonely and isolating experience. If you are also experiencing physical symptoms such as cravings and withdrawal, it can exacerbate symptoms of anxiety, depression, and paranoia. We are here to help. We will provide you with a safe and supportive environment to explore the underlying causes of your addiction, identify triggers, and develop coping strategies to manage cravings and urges. Taking that first step is hard, but there’s a new life of health and hope just waiting for you.
Anxiety is one of the most common disorders experienced today, and often goes hand in hand with a sex addiction diagnosis. Did you know that anxiety can show up as perfectionism, avoidance, indecision, and obsessive-compulsive behaviors? If you are routinely brushing off symptoms by rationalizing with things like "It's just stress, it will pass", or "I just have high standards for myself", we can help. Working with us, you will discover the motivation, perspective, and joy that everyone deserves in their life.
